YSB Center for Global ESG and Business Ethics
The Center plans to run, among others, the following activities:
- A multidisciplinary research seminar series on business ethics and ESG
- Organizing an International Annual symposium
- Hosting round table discussions and events with socially remarkable corporate leaders
- Collaborating with other international organizations and business ethics centers
- Conducting joint research on ESG management, internal control, and business ethics with industry leaders and organizations
2018 AAA Washington D.C. Annual Ethics Research Symposium Participation and Research Presentation at the AAA Conference

Professor Ho-Young Lee at the center participated in the Annual Ethics Research Symposium of the American Accounting Association and shared various thoughts on the implementation of business ethics. He also presented two research papers on “The Association between Internal Auditor Evaluation and Financial and Non-financial Performance of Public Enterprises” and “CEO Pay Disparity and Firm Value.” The latter is to examine CEO’s ethical and opportunistic motivations surrounding employee compensation scheme.
