YSB Center for Global ESG and Business Ethics
The Center plans to run, among others, the following activities:
- A multidisciplinary research seminar series on business ethics and ESG
- Organizing an International Annual symposium
- Hosting round table discussions and events with socially remarkable corporate leaders
- Collaborating with other international organizations and business ethics centers
- Conducting joint research on ESG management, internal control, and business ethics with industry leaders and organizations
Special Lecture: Economics of corporate ethics

Professor Kim Jeong Dong of Yonsei University provided a special lecture on September 20th of 2016. His lecture was about Economics of Corporate Ethics. He noted that ethical evaluation of corporate decision can vary depending on perspectives. With a number of socially controversial cases, he explained how an economically optimal business decision can become a controversy and be regarded unethical in the market. His lecture evoked students to think about what is the best decision to corporates.
