YSB Center for Global ESG and Business Ethics
The Center plans to run, among others, the following activities:
- A multidisciplinary research seminar series on business ethics and ESG
- Organizing an International Annual symposium
- Hosting round table discussions and events with socially remarkable corporate leaders
- Collaborating with other international organizations and business ethics centers
- Conducting joint research on ESG management, internal control, and business ethics with industry leaders and organizations
2019 Book Concert of Yonsei Business Research Institute

On April 19, 2018, Prof. Ho-Young Lee of the Center for Global Business Ethics and Responsibility discussed the current and future of Korean Corporate Governance at the Book Concert of Yonsei Business Research Institute. Prof. Lee indicated that the control-ownership wedge of Korean Chaebol firms has increased over the last 20 years. As a result, the agency problem between majority and minority shareholders may have been increased.
