In collaboration with Shinhan Financial Group, Yonsei Center for Global Business Ethics & Responsibility developed and announced a Framework for Shinhan Social Value Measurement(SVMF). Related articles are as follows: SVMF is a theoretical metric that measures the social value created by Shinhan Financial, which translates the social value generated by social contribution activities into monetary value. The results of the value measurement are divided into two main categories. First of all, it calculates the social cost saved by resources invested in social contribution and the created social value added, and measures changes in direct and indirect influence to such beneficiaries as individuals and corporations at present value. This model organizes the view that future CSR activities need to be considered by evaluating and supporting what (social) projects will be pursued and what social values can be created, rather than just sponsorship.
