On June 26, 2019, Professor Ho-Young Lee served as the chair at the joint conference between the Korea Association of Business Ethics and The Institute of Internal Auditors. During the conference, two keynote speeches and seven panel discussants representing Transparency International Korea, Korea Association of Business Ethics, Institute of Internal Auditors, Korea Corporate Governance, Service, Korea Institute of Certified Accountants, Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission, National Pension Service and others have shared thoughts on the role of internal auditors in creating social value and improving the effectiveness of corporate internal control. The titles of keynote speeches include ¡¸The status of internal audit and corporate governance systems of Korea¡¹, ¡¸Creating social value (CSV) via the improvement of speciality of internal auditors¡¹. More than 200 practitioners and researchers on CSV and internal auditors attended the conference and shared ideas and insights on recent issues of internal audit and creating social value.
